ARAB DANCE

Oriental dance originating in Arab countries with different folk styles. Among the different folk styles are dabke, etc. All dancers wear the traditional costume to embody the history of their culture and tell stories of their ancestors. This modality can be danced barefoot or wear shoes according to the dance. The following styles will be taken into account in this modality: Egyptian Folklore, Hallaga, Fallahi, Nubian, among others.

Dance originated in the Middle East and was introduced to the West with a show orientation. They are Baladi routine, Derbake solo routine (Mix of Arabic rhythms), which use music with western arrangements and more modernized Arabic techniques. This modality can be danced barefoot or wear shoes according to the dance. The choreography can contain a maximum of one acrobatic and/or gymnastic element, the following styles will be taken into account in this modality: Baladi Routine, Drum, Meyance, Dance with an element. The Reda technique and the Kawleeya stylizations will be included in this modality.
