ART.23 ALL DANCE BACHATA

BACHATA_ADI

It has its origin in the Dominican Republic, is a dance of sensual representation that has influences of bolero, rancheras, tango, and Son Cubano although over the years has evolved in the dance steps and can distinguish different styles such as Bachata Dominicana, modern Bachata, Tango Bachata, urban Bachata, Sensual Bachata.

For the scenic proposal, the shoes must be according to the dance, Jazz, or ballet shoes will not be allowed. The choreography may contain a maximum of four acrobatic and/or gymnastic elements.

The rhythm of bachata consists of two measures of 4 beats each. In bachata, there is no pause on the fourth beat as in salsa, but the beat is emphasized with subtle steps or movements.
