ART. 54 DEFINITION OF THE OFFICIAL DANCE AWARDS

Terpsichore and Corybant are the official accreditations of the dance world industry, inspired by the beginnings of dance and it’s the origins of Ancient Greece.

Terpsichore (Τερψιχόρη) who delights in dance, was the inspiring goddess of the art of dance and light-poetry. The Corybants (Κορύϐαντες) were dancing warriors who carried out educational activities such as the Pyrrhic dance that was linked to the celebration of victory.

54.1 CORYBANT AWARDS

They are the official accreditation to a degree obtained in dance within each edition of All Dance International. They are awarded by rank of scores or places obtained in each edition respectively according to the most up-to-date All Dance International coding. They are: 1st Corybant, 2nd Corybant, 3rd Corybant.

The Corybant prize-giving will take place at the awards section on each block indicated in the final program, for this, only the directors and choreographers will be able to come to stage.

54.2 TERPSICHORE AWARDS

They are the official accreditation of dance. This award is given to each All Dance International competitor of each edition in the form of a medal. Its purpose is to recognize and give merit to every talent and dedication in the art of dance.

DELIVERY OF THE OFFICIAL DANCE AWARDS

The official dance awards (Corybant, Grand Corybant, Best Dancer and Open Production Excellence) will be awarded to their recipients according to the segments of the championship schedule.

ART.55 ALL DANCE AWARDS

These are the special titles and awards that All Dance International awards to the nominees of the official dance championships. They are Best Dancer, Best Choreographer, Best Director, Best Choreography, Grand Corybant, Open Production Excellence, Revelation, Trajectory, and Best School of the Year.

The titles will be delivered at the end of each championship (All Dance National Qualifier, All Dance World, All Dance Intercontinental, and All Dance Continental). During the All Dance Awards Ceremony, the winning dancers, choreographers, directors, and delegations will be able to take the stage to receive their titles and special awards.

ART.56 GRAND CORYBANT AWARDS

It is the highest award of the official dance championship in the world, awarded according to division and level. It has been designed to recognize and reward the best dance performers.
For a fair award, the Grand Corybant awards are subdivided and unified by levels.

They are:
✓ Grand Corybant Junior (Mini and Children).
✓ Grand Corybant Student Level (Youth, Pre-Youth and Adult Student Level).
✓ Grand Corybant Youth and Pre-Professional Adults (Youth and Adults Pre-Professional Level).
✓ Grand Corybant Professionals (Open pro and Adults Professional Level).

NOMINATION: All schools that meet the following requirements will be nominated:

  1. Schools must be enrolled in at least 5 group choreographies, according to their division and level as detailed in the table of applicable divisions, subdivisions and levels of this nomination.
  2. They must participate in at least 3 different techniques modalities.

QUALIFICATION METHOD

To obtain the result, the 5 best scores of the choreographies nominated for the award will be averaged, according to their division and level, they must be in at least 3 different modalities or techniques. Who gets the highest average will be the winner.

The academy must obtain a minimum average of 85 points.

NOTES:

  • Solo Participations, duet and trio subdivisions will not be nominated.
  • The organization reserves the right do not give the award to the school that has more than one Technical Deduction or Ethical Principles Deduction.

ART.57 BEST FEMALE DANCER AND BEST MALE DANCER

This special award is dedicated exclusively to the most outstanding dancer of the Championship at the student, Pre-professional and professional level. In addition to obtaining the maximum score in their registered choreographies.

The award for best dancer will be awarded to those deserving according to the segments of the championship schedule.

• Student Level Best Female Dancer and Best Male Dancer Mini Division.
• Student Level Best Female Dancer and Best Male Dancer Children Division.
• Student Level Best Female Dancer and Best Male Dancer Pre-Youth Division.
• Student Level Best Female Dancer and Best Male Dancer Youth Division.
• Student Level Female Best Dancer and Best Male Dancer Adult Division.
• Pre-Professional Level Best Female Dancer and Best Male Dancer Youth Division.
• Pre-Professional Level Best Female Dancer and Best Male Dancer Adult Division.

NOMINATION: All participants who meet the following requirements will be nominated:

They must participate in at least 3 choreographies in different techniques modalities.

2 of their performances must be 1 solo and 1 group performance, accompanied by 1 duet, trio or more group choreographies, according to their division and level as detailed in the applicable divisions, subdivisions, and levels table of this nomination.

For the nomination of best dancer it is not allowed to combine choreographies of different levels.

QUALIFICATION METHOD

To obtain the result, the soloist note choreography with the highest score will be taken as 50% of the score for the best dancer, the other 50% will be formed by averaging the next 2 best scores, which will include 1 group choreography, accompanied by 1 duo, trio or another group.

The 3 best scores selected from the best dancer must be in 3 different technique modalities.

The selected results will be averaged, that is, 50% (soloist with the highest score) and 50% (two next best scores), the dancer who obtains the highest average will be the winner, according to their division and level.

She/He must obtain a minimum average of 85 points.

NOTES:

  • Dancers may be nominated as best dancer representing only one level and one division, that is, the same dancer may not be nominated or obtain the title of best dancer at different levels and divisions of the current championship.
  • The presentation of the same choreography will be allowed to obtain this award in the international championships of the season
  • In each edition the best dancers TOP 5 will be named.
  • In case of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the number of first places.
  • The organization reserves the right do not give the award to the dancer who has more than one Deduction of Ethical Principles.

To get the result, the 3 best scores of the choreographies nominated for the award will be averaged, according to their division, level, and mention, they must be in at least 3 different modalities or techniques. Whoever gets the highest average will be the winner.

The dance school must obtain a minimum average of 85 points.

  • In case of a tie, the winner will be defined according to the number of first places.
  • The organization reserves the right do not give the award to the school that has more than one Technical Deduction or Ethical Principles Deduction.

ART.59 BEST SCHOOL OF THE YEAR

This award is in honor of the excellence of ALLDANCERS schools. They will be awarded in final Championships: All Dance Nationals, All Dance World, All Dance Intercontinental and All Dance Continental; with the following levels of honor and prestige:

• HONOR AND PRESTIGE ALL DANCE WORLD: Best School of the Year in the World
• HONOR AND PRESTIGE ALL DANCE INTERCONTINENTAL: Best School of the continents.
• HONOR AND PRESTIGE ALL DANCE CONTINENTAL: Best School of the Year on the Continent
• ALL DANCE NATIONALS HONOR AND PRESTIGE: Best School of the Year in the Nation.

NOMINATION

All schools that meet the following requirements will be nominated:

  • Must be nominated in one or more “GRAND CORYBANT” or “OPEN PRODUCTION EXCELLENCE”.
  • The DIRECTOR must be nominated in the award for “BEST DIRECTOR”
  • One or more CHOREOGRAPHERS from the school must be nominated for the “BEST CHOREOGRAPHER” award.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a school within the dance industry.
  • The nominated school must be affiliated with the All Dance International organization.
  • You must have at least 4 different dance modalities or techniques among all your registered choreographies.
  • For final international championships, only schools belonging to the TOP 10 of the schools that win this award in national championships will be nominated.

GRADING METHODS

In the annual edition of the championships: All Dance National Qualifier, All Dance World, All Dance Intercontinental, All Dance continental, the school with the highest score obtained as a result of the sum of the following points per award will be worthy of this award:

  • The organization reserves the right don’t give the award to the school that has more than one Technical Deduction or Ethical Principles Deduction.

ART.60 ACADEMY TRAJECTORY

This award is dedicated to the most relevant active members of All Dance International of the year, who have been within the organization for at least 2 years, who have represented the nation in All Dance World, All Dance Continental or All Dance Intercontinental championships and who have featured as an example within the organization.

  • For its outstanding development within the industry.
  • For contributing to the development of dance in their nation.
  • For being an example of motivation for new dancers.

NOTES:

  • The winner of the ACADEMY TRAJECTORY award will be chosen by a committee appointed by the organization.
  • The ACADEMY TRAJECTORY award will not have the same winner for two consecutive years.

ART.61 REVELATION

This award is given to schools participating for the first time in the official ALL DANCE Championships. You must participate with a minimum of 10 performances.

QUALIFICATION METHOD

The winning dance school will be the one that has first places in at least 75% of all their performances. Additionally, the dance school must obtain a minimum average of 85 points.

  • In case of a tie, the winner will be defined according to the number of second places.

This award is designed in recognition of excellence in leadership for directing the greatest number of performances. The director who complies with a minimum of 20 choreographies will be nominated, of which 10 must be group.

QUALIFICATION METHOD

To get the result, the 20 best scores of the choreographies nominated for the award will be averaged, which will include at least 10 group choreographies. Whoever gets the highest average will be the winner.

The dance academy must obtain a minimum average of 85 points.

This award is dedicated exclusively to the most outstanding choreographer for his or her ability to create and direct the greatest number of choreographies.

NOMINATION:

The choreographer who registers and directs a minimum of 5 choreographies in the current championship will be nominated.

To obtain the result, the 5 best scores of the choreographies nominated for the award are averaged. Who gets the highest average will be the winner.

The choreographer must obtain a minimum average of 85 points.

NOTES:

  • Choreographies of Ballet Repertoire or Fragment and K-pop will not be considered in the nomination for Best Choreographer.
  • In case of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the number of first places.

ART. 64 BEST GROUP CHOREOGRAPHY

This Award is dedicated to the best choreographic proposal of the current championship, this special honor will be awarded to the group choreography with the highest score, among all the modalities, divisions, and levels of All Dance International.

NOTES:

  • The organization reserves the right not to award the award to the choreography that has more than one Technical Deduction or Deduction of Ethical Principles.
  • The choreography must obtain a minimum average of 85 points.

ART. 65 MENTION TO THE HIGHEST SCORE OF EACH MODALITY

All Dance International will award the choreography with the highest score in each modality the honor and mention for the highest score. The mention will be given to a single choreography for each modality among all the divisions, subdivisions and levels registered.

NOTES:

  • The organization reserves the right not to award the award to the choreography that has more than one Technical Deduction or Deduction of Ethical Principles.
  • The choreography must obtain a minimum average of 90 points.

GENERAL RESTRICTIONS

  • The minimum average is 85 points. Otherwise, the awards will not be delivered.
  • They will not be able to obtain the special awards again with the same choreographies in the next 2 years of a different season.
  • The special awards may be revoked if violations of the regulations are verified, for example: Choreographies that have previously won, altered ages and levels, substitution of identity, etc.
 

ART. 66 NEW ALLDANCERS AWARDS

The New Alldancers Awards are the titles and special awards that All Dance International awards to the winners of the New Alldancers level. They are: Best New Alldancers, Best Group Choreography, Best Solo, Duo or Trio Choreography and Best Creative.

It is the highest New All Dancers award, designed to recognize and reward the best exponents of group choreography at the New Alldancers level.

NOMINATION:

The dance academy must register 5 group choreographies in at least 3 different technical modalities.

QUALIFICATION METHOD

  • To get the result, the 5 best scores of the choreographies nominated for the award will be averaged, they must be in at least 3 different technical modalities. Whoever gets the highest average will be the winner.

NOTES:

The organization reserves the right not to award the award to the choreography that has more than one Technical Deduction or Deduction of Ethical Principles.

Award dedicated to the most outstanding choreographer for his creative capacity in New Alldancers level choreographies.

NOMINATION:

  • The dance academy must register 5 group choreographies in New Alldancers level.
  • Choreographies of Ballet Repertoire or Fragment and K-pop will not be considered.

QUALIFICATION METHOD

To obtain the result, the 5 best scores of the choreographies nominated for the award are averaged. Who gets the highest average will be the winner.

NOTES:

  • The organization reserves the right not to award the award to the choreography that has more than one Technical Deduction or Deduction of Ethical Principles.

Award dedicated to the choreography with the highest score in the entire championship in the solo, duo or trio subdivisions at the New Alldancers level.

Award dedicated to the choreography with the highest score of the entire championship in the large group or small group subdivisions at the New Alldancers level.

ART. 67 RULE OF EXTRAORDINARY EXCEPTION DUE TO FORTUITE CAUSES OR FORCE MAJEURE

For fortuitous causes or force majeure (government regulations related to covid-19, restrictions and protocols, others)

ART. 68 COMPLAINTS

During the championship, the organization will accept complaints or reports regarding plagiarism, incorrect ages, and wrong levels. It must be done by telephone All Dance of the championship in progress, sending reliable evidence, at least 30 minutes before the award of the choreography.
