ART.24 ALL DANCE TANGO
Tango is a dance form that uses the musical genre tango as a base, it is a dance of corporal representation in which personal emotions are transmitted and its most popular styles are: Stage Tango and dancefloor tango. All Dance Tango will be graded based on the Argentine technique.
Stage tango seeks to recreate the conditions and modalities in which the show tango is danced; it must include classic figures of traditional tango based on the technique of Argentine tango.
This submodality, unlike the salon tango, seeks choreographic freedom and the expression of the multiple variations with which the tango dance is presented in the world, but without losing identity and is allowed to use figures and applications that do not refer directly to traditional Tango, but must be present in the choreography the classic figures of tango: ochos, turns, long walks, boleos, hooks and when the proposal is in couple the “abrazo milonguero”.
Within this submodality, the Milonga and exhibition waltz proposals will be allowed.
There is no limit to acrobatic or gymnastic elements, without exceeding 40% of the choreographic proposal.
As it is a social dance, allows both styles: salón tango and milonguero. The couple must maintain a closed dance position, meaning they cannot let go of the embrace while the music lasts; jumps, lifts, acrobatics, and hooks are not allowed.
The organization will send the musical track and orchestra in advance (at the discretion of the organizer). The musical track and orchestra will be at the choice of the specialist jury.
NOTA: Particularly practiced according to the All Dance divisions and subdivisions. Acrobatic or gymnastics elements are not allowed in this submodality.
