These dances are originated and developed in Latin America. Its technique is characterized by its predominant movement of the hips to the rhythm of the body, among which Merengue, Bolero, Chachachá, Samba, Lambada, among others, are mentioned. it can also be the combination of two or more Latin dance styles, including Salsa and Bachata as fusion.

For the staging proposal, the shoes must be in accordance with the dance. Therefore, ballet and jazz shoes will not be allowed. the choreography may contain a maximum of four acrobatic and/or gymnastic elements.
